1902 Jumlah Orang Minahasa Yang Muslim; 7.972 Jiwa
PS3M Manado - Dalam diskusi yang digelar oleh Pusat Studi Masyarakat Muslim di MINAHASA (PS3M) pada Rabu (18/01), Roger Kembuan yang bertindak sebagai pematik mengemukakan bahwa dalam catatan sejarah, orang di Minahasa yang beragama Islam pada tahun 1902 sedikitnya ada 7.972 jiwa. Menurut catatan laporan Carpentier Alting, rincian masyarakat Minahasa yang Muslim tersebut sebagai berikut:
1. Distrik Manado: 2.431 Jiwa
2. Distrik Maumbi: 393 jiwa
3. Distrik Tonasa: 1.518 Jiwa
4. Distrik Bantik: 35 Jiwa
5. Distrik Tombariri: 241 Jiwa
6. Distrik Tomohon Saronsong: 161 Jiwa
7. Distrik Toulimambot: 1.650 Jiwa
8. Distrik Toulian: -
9. Distrik Kakas Romboken: 86 Jiwa
